ELECTRONIC E-VISA FOR MYANMAR

The government of Myanmar offers tourists and business travellers the opportunity to acquire an ELECTRONIC VISA for tourist or business purposes. All Canadians can apply on-line and pay on-line for the e-Visa from Myanmar. Apply for the Myanmar tourist or business e-Visa at the government website here:

BUSINESS E-VISA Single-entry visa, valid for a 70 day stay US$70

TOURIST E-VISA Single-entry visa, valid for 28 days US$50

You must meet the following conditions in order to be eligible for an Myanmar e-Visa:

1. You must have an "ordinary" tourist passport (as opposed to a diplomatic/official/military passport)which is valid for at least six months past date of proposed exit of Myanmar.
2. Your sole objective is tourism, or regular business meetings.
3. You will be travelling on a round trip ticket with a stay of less than 30 days in Myanmar.
4. You wish to obtain a short term, single entry visa .
5. You must arrive in Myanmar by scheduled airline flight at one of the following airports: Yangon, Mandalay, or Nay Pyi Taw
6. Your date of journey/arrival must not be greater than 30 days from today.

TOURIST E-VISA

• original passport, valid for at least 6 months after return to Canada,
• one (1) fully completed and signed visa application form,
• recent colour ID photograph, 48mm x 38 mm, 500 Kb - 1000 Kb file size,
• Visa is only valid for entry by air at Yangon, Mandalay, and Nay Pyi Taw international airports.
• Attach the photograph as a JPG file attachment in the email along with this application form JPG maximum file size is 1 Mb.

BUSINESS E-VISA

• original passport, valid for at least 6 months after return to Canada,
• one (1) fully completed and signed visa application form,
• recent colour ID photograph, 48mm x 38 mm, 500 Kb - 1000 Kb file size,
• a signed letter of invitation from your sponsoring company in Myanmar.
• copy of the Myanmar business registration certificate of the inviting company.
• copy of certificate of Registration of Branch Office (For Foreign Investment Company)
• Visa is only valid for entry by air at Yangon, Mandalay, and Nay Pyi Taw international airports.
• Attach the photograph as a JPG file attachment in the email along with this application form JPG maximum file size is 1 Mb.
• Letter of invitation (maximum 1 Mb file size)
• Company Registration (maximum 1 Mb file size)

Get eVisa Approval Within 4 Steps

1. FILL IN THE SECURE ONLINE VISA FORM
   Applicant is required to enter all the necessary information in the visa form
2. CONFIRM AND PAY
   Applicant needs to verify all the information entered is correct before proceeding to the next step. Make the payment with Credit Card. Acknowledgement email with application reference code will be sent to applicant's email.
3. GET APPROVAL LETTER WITHIN 3 DAYS
   Approval process may take up to 3 working days. Applicant will receive eVisa approval letter via email once approved. Print out the approval letter and bring along with passport. You will need to present it upon arrival.
4. GET EVISA STAMPED UPON ARRIVAL
   Upon arrival to Myanmar Immigration checkpoint, present eVisa approval letter and passport to Immigration officer and get the passport stamped.
